I've written a free java program I'm tentatively calling "Pattern Designer," mostly as an excuse to learn the language. It is in constant state of improvement.
A computer capable of running Java 5.0. A printer. Measuring tape. The "Pattern Designer" distribution "available on my website":http://mysite.verizon.net/jeremy_erwin/PatternDesigner.zip

Your programm is very intresting! I really hope You’ll write more tutorials for it and a user’s guide.
I am very interested how to make my own patterns with it and how to enter a new set of measurements.
I like the users interface and I hope you are going on to improve it.
Best wishes

You should be able to just double click on the “PatternDesigner.jar” file. If not, perhaps you should install java on your machine

No, it’ll work on a mac, linux, freebsd. Basically any computer that supports java.
