I really wanted to make my own Paola dress for which I decided to use this lilac silk I bought on my last trip to China. I had some problems with the pattern as the front and the back of the shoulder did not match but in the end I managed to get around this. I also made the belt that goes with the dress but I don’t wear it as I don’t think it looks nice on me.

It’s amazing, I’m surprised that after it being available for so long now there are so few attempts at it! Your version of it totally rules, it’s very boudoir-ish.

Several days (but I’m kinda slow)… in the beginning I made it a little too tight so I had to unstitch it and sew it again.
