Here we have a perfect gift for a special person: an elegant and luxurious shawl, that is very simple to make. After sewing together coordinating rectangles of chiffon and organza, give the resulting wrap a sprinkling of diaphanous flowers. In our instructions, we give you the dimensions we used, but, of course, you can adjust this to your preference. Also, depending on the amount of fabric you have, you may want some seams in your scarf: just use a baby hem.
BS-007 Silk Flowers Patterns, silk chiffon and organza. We used different colors. Scissors, pins, hand needle, tailor’s chalk, thread.

This is ridiculous and hardly a pattern. I really hope burdastyle doesn’t become a crafts website…

This is absolutely beautiful! I have been looking for “the perfect scarf pattern” for a while, and this one is exactly what I’ve been searching for. To make things even better, it’s also what my friends are currently hunting for- can anyone say “holiday gifts?!” Hooray!!!

This is a beautiful creation. The color is gorgeous. You have me thinking about running out to get some fabric for this and where I can wear it to. Thanks for the ideas!!!! The flowers are a great touch, I love them!

This is grogeous. The color is stunning! I’d love to try this one when I get some spare time. =)
I love the photo too. The model is very pretty, and the way the leafy vines are sort of flowing into the “flowers” on the wrap is so nice!Nov 10, 2008, 04.17 PMby the-gilded-bee
Lush/elegant. Just the project I’ve been thinking about, only better.
Very lovely pattern/creation.

I’ve just downloaded the pattern and I’m heading to the fabric shop to purchase enough fabric to make at least 3 for gifts this Christmas. Maybe I’ll make one more, for myself. I love the color! Thanks!
