Thanks for the hem answer on the Lesley skirt project. The fabric looks really light weight in the how-to as you can see the board color behind it in some of the pictures. It’s got to be a fun skirt to make and to wear (unless you on South Point on the Big Island Hawaii. Windiest place I have been and I grew up in Tornado alley.) Thanks for putting out the skirt pattern. It’s great for those quick poodle skirt wannabes at costume parties.

your barbarian sweater totally inspired me to start sewing the structured apocalypse style pullover that I’ve been dreaming about for so long. Your pieces are amazing!

I totally haven’t tried sewing the obi belt yet. My husband and I just moved relocated to CA from VT and I’m finally getting settled enough to start sewing again. Once I do make it, I will post photos, and send you a message!

hey triplela, thank you for your beach advice! we did go up the PCH past malibu and ended up at el piedra… not sure if that’s the one, but it was pretty much the best day at the beach, ever. sorry it took me so long to get back to you (recovering not only from drinking but also from our-friends-just-left depression).

I don’t know how you etsy guys manage to be so productive, I am so slow. If I ever want to get rid of my JJ top I’ll think about you…

Thanks for posting the SML size charts. I would be in a pickle when resizing such a pattern w/o the size range for guidance. Nehmah

Thanks on your comments on my jacket potato! I just red your profile. I just saw a Cat Power gig yesterday (my 4th one ) Chan is more confident on stage now that she dropped the booze.
I am a big fan of 2 or 3 things I know about her by Godard (the coffe cup)
keep well
