Hello,
I’m new to Burda style and I love it. I would like to post some photos of my projects, however they are made from patterns from other companies. What are the rules for posting a project? Is it ok if I post the picture as long as I also note the pattern company and number, or is it only ok to post a picture if it is my own creation or from Burda?
Thank you so much. I can’t get enough of this website! I am constantly inspired!

As far as I can see (newbie to) it seems to be fine to post other creations. Get going girl!

Just add the company and pattern number. You are to be commended for giving credit where it is due. Thank you and welcome to BS from just one of the crowd. Cordially, Nehmah

Yes you may post creations made by using other companies patterns. Just make sure, as Nehmah stated above, you give credit to the pattern company, web page, magazine or what ever media you’ve used. We look forward to seeing your creations! Happy sewing!

All of the above is great advice :) I always think it’s best to give credit where credit is due, and if not sure, give credit anyway :) All I wanted to add to this is that another good reason to post your pattern information is because if other members love your creation and want to try the pattern they will ask you what pattern you used, if you post it from the start we can all benefit :) xx
