Our great friends over at CRAFT and SINGER have joined forced to bring you a fun new contest! Here’s a snippet:
CRAFT and SINGER® present the Me, My Scarf, and I Contest. Fall is upon us, and what better accessory than a scarf! We invite all of our crafty readers to participate and create a sewn scarf that best describes your personality! All entries must have some portion created using a sewing machine.
Deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. PDT November 23, 2009. Each entry will be judged based on the following criteria: creativity of design, description of how the scarf represents the creator, and the use of a sewing machine in the creation process.

Such a shame, I thought after the last contest that BurdaStyle was going to keep trying to appealing to all of it’s international members with it’s contests, oh well evidently not! :-(

We are keeping everyone’s comments and concerns in mind for our future contests. As for this, we just wanted to pass on the word about the awesome contest that CRAFT and SINGER were holding, this is not a BurdaStyle contest.

I wanted to enter this one but I can’t cause I’m english! If there are going to be country-specific competitions why not run more than one at once so that everyone has something to work for?
I might make a scarf anyways, I’ve conquered my fear of my sewing machine with a halloween costume this year, still waiting for my friends to send their pics. :)
